Where to store (and charge) your vaper?

There are exciting designs for e-cigarettes and Mods around, but there is a siginifcant lack of great stands or charging docks. The variety of designs and mechanics combined with the comparibly low number of items results in the need for a highly adaptable stand for e-cigarettes.

The experience gathered with the most versatile wooden smartphone dock (the lambda dock) was easy to re-use for creating a cool dock for e-cigarettes.

Note: Please refer to the specification of your device for the ability to charge through the USB port. There is a sort of dissent in the community for some of the models (e.g. the Rx200 where the website clearly indicates that charging through USB is possible, but some people encountered problems)

Type 1: BoMoDo G2 for nearly all devices

The core of the design is the ability to move the base up and down and to have an adaptable depth of the Micro-USB plug. These two parameters allow to adapt to a large number of vaporizers.

Luckily the producers of e-zigarettes somehow agreed on a standard format for the charger and the plug. ((Elvapo, Kangertech- and Joyetech)

Type 4: Lambda-Base for box-vaper with adaptable plug-fixation

The base of the lambda-dock with the variable plug-depth makes a pretty nice dock for Boxes with the usb-plug at the bottom (e.g. the eLeaf Mini iStick or the JWell Troca)
